AALAS Continues ILAM for Development of Your Management Skills

Who doesn’t like continued education?

The AALAS developed a two-year educational program in 1992 called the Institute for Laboratory Animal Management (ILAM) and takes place in Memphis, TN. The program targets working professionals of all ages in the laboratory animal science industry. This industry, like all global industries, is faced with evolving challenges in social, political, and environmental arenas. The intent of ILAM is to provide the opportunity for continued staff development of management skills that are geared towards broadening the administrative skill set needed for themselves and their employees.

ILAM provides intensive continuing education workshops that provide instruction on developing greater communication skills, the art of corporate networking, and the skills for in-house team building to achieve purpose driven goals. This association is dedicated to quality performance in this evolving industry. At the end of the program, participants will receive a certification showing successful completion of the program.

Enrollment for the 2018 classes begin June 1st, 2017 and ends September 1st, 2017.
