Good intentions only count when they show up in the formula. That idea is behind our name, taken from the little sayings founder Tim Hidell’s mother kept on her refrigerator, and it is how we have worked for four decades.
1980first jobA gentler chemistry for the job
A mold problem in flour cars threatened a major school lunch contract, and harsh chemical fixes were damaging the aluminum aerators. Tim Hidell proposed an iodophor that cleaned and sanitized without corroding the aluminum.
300sq ftBuilt from the ground up
Quip Labs started in a modest garage along the Christina River with two small mixing tanks. Food plants came first, then research laboratories and life science facilities, and the same approach came along.
