New Cases of Ebola Outbreaks Create Concern

According to the World Health Organization, a 22-year-old Sierra Leone woman, who had died earlier in the week, tested positive for the Ebola virus.

According to Science Magazine, “Even as WHO officials had announced on Thursday that for the first time in 2 years, West Africa was free of Ebola transmission, they had warned of the risk of flare-ups.”

Meanwhile, over in England, the Commons’ international development committee has made it clear that the UK made a mistake in not dealing with the Ebola virus warnings soon enough.

In a statement released to the BBC, Committee chairman Stephen Twigg said: “The international community relied on WHO to sound the alarm for an international emergency on the scale of Ebola. The organisation’s failure to respond quickly enough is now well documented.

While an Ebola vaccine has been released, the WHO has warned that “vigilance must be maintained” within the international community in order to ensure that more outbreaks don’t occur.

For those facilities faced with eradicating the Ebola virus, both our MB-10 Disinfectant, HaloSpray disinfectant and Ygiene 206 sterilant meet the guidelines laid out by the CDC for the control of the virus.

Additionally, you can find MB-10 on the EPA’s “List L.” This list details the products recommended by the EPA to fight Ebola.
