Phenex-Cel is a powerful alkaline phenolic cleaner, disinfectant and deodorizer for decontamination of hard non-porous surfaces that have the potential to be contaminated by any potentially infectious material. This proven one-step disinfectant combines excellent cleaning and germ-killing power in a single solution, making it germicidal, pseudomonacidal, fungicidal and virucidal with effectiveness proven in the presence of 5% organic serum and tested according to AOAC Use-Dilution Method.
Phenex-Cel is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria including Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella enterica, and Staphylococcus aureus, as well as fungi such as Trichophyton interdigitale and animal viruses including Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV), Avian Influenza A (H5N1) virus, Newcastle Disease virus, and Porcine Respiratory and Reproductive Syndrome (PRRS) virus.
Phenex-Cel’s excellent detergency and antimicrobial efficacy make it ideal for hospitals and health care facilities, medical and dental offices, nursing homes, research facilities, veterinary clinics and hospitals, beauty salons and barber shops, foot spas and whirlpool units, poultry and swine facilities, livestock operations, schools and day care centers, and institutional facilities. The alkaline pH formulation works effectively in hard water up to 400 ppm hardness and in the presence of organic soil, with application methods including cloth, mop, or brush application, equipment immersion, spray application for large surface areas, and automated cleaning and disinfection systems.
- Dilution: 1:128 (1 ounce per gallon) for standard disinfection with 10-minute contact time
