WWN‑1®
WWN‑1® is a highly alkaline, liquid caustic neutralizing compound designed to raise the pH of acidic wash solutions in automated washing systems. It is specifically formulated for controlled use in washer applications where acidic chemistries are present and precise pH correction is required.
WWN‑1 is not a standalone cleaning compound. Instead, it is used as a process chemistry to neutralize acidic solutions such as Acidulate® formulations, helping to achieve a balanced, neutral pH without causing mineral salt precipitation when properly applied.
Key Benefits
- Effective pH Correction
Raises the pH of acidic wash solutions to achieve neutral conditions in automated systems. - Designed for Acid Neutralization
Formulated to neutralize Acidulate® chemistries, including Acidulate 150 and Acidulate 28. - Prevents Mineral Salt Precipitation
When used in combination with Acidulate 150, WWN‑1 neutralizes acidity without forming insoluble mineral salts. - Controlled, Process‑Use Chemistry
Intended for precise dosing to correct pH—not for direct soil removal or cleaning. - Compatible with Automated Washer Systems
Suitable for use in automated, rack, and tunnel washers.
Uses and Applications
Recommended Applications
- Automated Washers
- Rack Washers
- Tunnel Washers
Typical Use Scenarios
- Neutralizing acidic wash solutions
- Raising system pH following acidic wash stages
- Supporting balanced, controlled wash chemistry programs
Directions for Use
WWN‑1® is designed for use in automated washers, rack washers, and tunnel washers using controlled dosing systems. It should be metered carefully to raise the pH of acidic solutions to a neutral range, based on system volume, chemistry strength, and process requirements.
WWN‑1 must not be used as a cleaning compound by itself. Due to its highly caustic nature, standalone use will result in excessively alkaline solutions and is not intended for soil removal.
When used in combination with Acidulate® chemistries—such as Acidulate 150 or Acidulate 28—WWN‑1 provides effective neutralization without causing precipitation of mineral salts. Dosage should be adjusted incrementally to achieve the desired neutral pH.
Consult your chemical management provider to ensure proper dosing, system compatibility, and safe operation.
