This aquatic tank cleaning system consists of three chemistries – Aqueo Alkaline, Aqueo OX, and Aqueo Acid-C – All specifically formulated to meet the needs of aquatic research.

These chemistries are effective in removing built up soils, biofilm, and organic matter from a variety of aquaculture caging, such as tanks, aquaculture tanks, net pens, sea cages, and submerged cages, all without using surfactants that may leave harmful residues. The Aqueo chemistries are also free from additives that may harm your animal models’ physiology, behavior, or immune response.

The Aqueo System is a comprehensive way to clean your aquatic caging. And at the heart of this system is Aqueo Alkaline, a powerful and effective detergent that is specially designed for aquatic housing.

Aqueo Alkaline is a Potassium-Hydroxide based cleaner that can remove algae and biofilm from your aquatic caging without the need for manual scrubbing or pre-treatment. It is also free of phosphates and active chlorine, which can harm aquatic life.

Aqueo Alkaline not only removes organic residues on animal housing, but also ensures that your aquatic models are safe and healthy. It is non-toxic to aquatic organisms and can be easily neutralized with our Aqueo Acid Chemistry.

Aqueo OX: The Oxidizer of the Aqueo System

The Aqueo System is a comprehensive way to clean your aquatic caging. And one of the key components of this system is Aqueo OX, an oxidizer that is specially designed for aquatic caging.

Aqueo OX is a hydrogen peroxide-based cleaner that can:

• • Assist Aqueo Alkaline and acid by breaking down organic matter and reducing microbial load
• • Remove tough, stuck-on soils and stains from your aquatic caging
• • Work with our three-part Aqueo Aquatic Wash system for optimal cleaning results

It is also safe and extremely effective, as hydrogen peroxide is non-toxic to aquatic organisms and breaks down into water and oxygen.

Aqueo Acid-C: The Neutralizer of the Aqueo System

The final component of The Aqueo System is Aqueo Acid-C, an acidic cleaner and neutralizer that is specially designed for aquatic caging. This citric acid based cleaner provides the pH balance needed to neutralize Aqueo Alkaline, while also helping to remove hard water spots and mineral buildup.
