Halosil NXT

Our sister company, Halosil NXT engineers hydrogen peroxide whole-room disinfection systems for critical environments. The Halo Disinfection System is the only fogging system used in Quip Laboratories' QuipDecon operations and is proven in life sciences facilities nationwide. We serve as the exclusive distribution partner for Halosil NXT in the Life Sciences and Biotech sectors.

Built for critical environments

The Halo Disinfection System delivers a dry mist that reaches every surface in the room, built around a chemistry that protects the materials it cannot afford to damage.

Whole-room coverage

Dry mist hydrogen peroxide technology reaches every surface in the room on every cycle. No spot-treating, no missed corners. The delivery method is as important as the chemistry.

Material-safe by design

HaloFogger systems achieve 6-log sporicidal efficacy against target pathogens while protecting polycarbonate cages, acrylic equipment, and sensitive instrumentation that higher-concentration systems can damage.

Reduced labor and waste

The system reduces both labor costs and chemical waste compared to traditional surface disinfection programs. HaloMist decomposes into water and oxygen with no residues.

How HaloMist works

HaloMist pairs hydrogen peroxide with silver for a reason. Each component reinforces the other, producing a faster, more complete disinfection cycle at lower concentrations. Read the full science overview

1

Cell membrane attack

The formula releases highly reactive free radicals that attack the cell membrane of the targeted microorganism, disrupting structural integrity and weakening its defenses.

2

Enzyme denaturation

Free radicals bind to enzymes within the microorganism, causing denaturation. This renders the enzymes ineffective and disables the organism's ability to function.

3

DNA replication halt

Silver and hydrogen peroxide bind to the microorganism's DNA, stopping replication. The organism cannot recover, divide, or survive.

Silver stabilization

Silver stabilizes the hydrogen peroxide compound, producing a prolonged and sustained release of H2O2. This maintains robust biocidal effectiveness even at lower active concentrations.

Safe decomposition

As disinfection completes, hydrogen peroxide transforms into water and oxygen. No rinsing required. No chlorinated or brominated ingredients remain on fogged surfaces.

Undetectable silver residue

The silver concentration in HaloMist is 0.01%. Environmental tests have measured silver residue on fogged surfaces at less than 2.5 parts per billion.

EPA-registered broad-spectrum disinfectant

HaloMist is an EPA-registered broad-spectrum hydrogen peroxide and silver formulation, specifically developed for use with the HaloFogger system. See the full HaloMist overview for efficacy documentation.

The Halo Disinfection System

Four components, one platform. Each HaloFogger model is designed for a specific range of space sizes, and all are compatible with HaloMist.

HaloFogger Standard
Standard fogger

The HaloFogger

The original HaloFogger. Dispenses a dry mist of hydrogen peroxde and silver, with a 90-second delay in fogging for consistent cycle performance.

2,500 to 10,500 cubic ft
HaloFogger EXT
Compact fogger

HaloFogger EXT

Effective whole-room disinfection wherever it's needed, at a fraction of the cost of UV or VHP systems. Designed for smaller spaces where portability matters.

Up to 2,500 cubic ft
HaloFogger FLX
Multi-room fogger

HaloFogger FLX

Combines the proven effectiveness and volume capacity of the standard HaloFogger with nozzle flexibility from the HaloFogger EXT. Designed for high-frequency, multi-room programs and fully compatible with HaloPortal.

2,500 to 10,500 cubic ft
HaloMist Ready-to-Use
Disinfectant solution

HaloMist

A broad-spectrum EPA-registered formulation of hydrogen peroxide and silver. Kills 99.9999% of Clostridium difficile spores, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus on pre-cleaned hard non-porous surfaces. Specifically formulated for the Halo Disinfection System.
