What It Is

Anlage 7.5 is an EPA-registered disinfectant, sanitizer, fungicide, and virucide concentrate built on a blend of four quaternary ammonium compounds (7.50% total actives). It is a versatile disinfectant for hard, non-porous surfaces in veterinary practice, animal care, animal laboratory, and farm premise applications.

On hard, non-porous, non-food surfaces, Anlage 7.5 cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes in one labor-saving step when used according to the disinfection directions, and it provides clear use solutions even in the presence of hard water.

Versatile Applications

Anlage 7.5 is registered as a disinfectant, sanitizer, fungicide, virucide, and deodorizer for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants, hospitals, and institutional and industrial facilities. It is formulated for effective farm, poultry, swine, and mushroom farm premise sanitation, and for veterinary practice, animal care, and animal laboratory disinfection. Anlage 7.5 is also cleared under 40 CFR 180.940(a) for use on hard, non-porous, food contact surfaces, food processing equipment, and utensils, including in dairies, restaurants, and public eating establishments.

Registered Uses

Anlage 7.5 is registered for use in settings including:

  • Veterinary clinics, animal research laboratories, kennels, zoos, and pet shops
  • Dairy, hog, and poultry farms, and mushroom farms
  • Hospitals, medical clinics, dental offices, and nursing homes
  • Food processing plants, federally inspected meat and poultry facilities, restaurants, and institutional kitchens

Registered surfaces: Countertops, sinks, tub surfaces, sealed and finished floors, walls, cages, kennel runs, doorknobs, garbage cans, non-critical medical device surfaces (bed rails, gurneys, examining tables, wheelchairs), stainless steel, glazed porcelain and tile, and plastic surfaces such as polystyrene or polypropylene.

Medical Device Use Restriction: This product is not to be used as a terminal sterilant/high-level disinfectant on any surface or instrument that (1) is introduced directly into the human body, into or in contact with the bloodstream or normally sterile areas of the body, or (2) contacts intact mucous membranes without ordinarily penetrating the blood barrier or entering normally sterile areas of the body. This product may be used to pre-clean or decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high-level disinfection.

Efficacy Claims

Kills the following organisms in 10 minutes at 3.5 fl. oz. per 4.5 gallons of water (0.78 fl. oz. per gallon; 450 ppm active quat) on hard, non-porous surfaces:

Bacteria

  • Salmonella enterica (ATCC 10708)
  • Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538)

  • Escherichia coli, pathogenic strain O157:H7 (ATCC 35150)

Fungi

  • Trichophyton interdigitale, the athlete's foot fungus (ATCC 9533)

*Also kills HIV-1, Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) on pre-cleaned environmental hard, non-porous surfaces and objects previously soiled with blood or body fluids, at the same 10-minute contact time.

Kills the following animal viruses in 10 minutes at 3.5 fl. oz. per 4.5 gallons of water (450 ppm active quat) on hard, non-porous surfaces:

  • Avian Infectious Laryngotracheitis Virus (ATCC VR-22)
  • Avian Influenza Virus, Turkey/Wisconsin strain
  • Avian Influenza Virus (H5N1)
  • Infectious Bronchitis Virus, Arkansas '99 strain
  • Newcastle Disease Virus (ATCC VR-108)
  • Canine Distemper Virus
  • Feline Calicivirus
  • Pseudorabies Virus
  • Marek's Disease Virus

For cleaning and disinfecting hard, non-porous surfaces including cages, kennels, kennel runs, stables, catteries, pens, stalls, and equipment used for feeding or watering animals: remove animals, feed, litter, droppings, and manure; visibly clean surfaces with soap or detergent and rinse with water; then saturate with a use-solution of 3.5 fl. oz. per 4.5 gallons of water and allow to remain visibly wet for 10 minutes. Rinse all surfaces that contact food or water, including feeding and watering equipment, with potable water before reuse.

The same 3.5 fl. oz. per 4.5 gallons of water dilution and 10-minute contact time applies to poultry and swine premise disinfection.

Effective sanitizer for hard, non-porous, food contact surfaces at any of these three active concentrations, each with a 60-second contact time:

Effective one-step non-food contact sanitizer in 3 minutes at 2 fl. oz. per 5.75 gallons of water (0.34 fl. oz. per gallon; 200 ppm active quat) in deionized water on hard, non-porous surfaces against:

  • Klebsiella aerogenes (ATCC 13048)
  • Klebsiella pneumoniae (ATCC 4352)
  • Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538)
