Enviro-Kleen 100 is a heavy-duty alkaline detergent formulated for automated rack, tunnel, and cage washing equipment. It rapidly penetrates and removes the fatty, oily, and proteinaceous soils common in vivarium and life sciences wash centers — including the heavy loads associated with rodent, canine, and primate housing. Free-rinsing and effective in both soft and hard water, Enviro-Kleen 100 pairs directly with Acidulate 150 as a complete two-product cage wash program, eliminating the need for a separate neutralizer.

When employing a two-part cage wash system with Enviro-Kleen 100 and Acidulate 150, no dedicated neutralizer is necessary, as the two chemistries neutralize each other. This two-product approach simplifies your chemical inventory and reduces HazMat shipping concerns.
Enviro-Kleen products have been used in life sciences facilities for almost 40 years. Enviro-Kleen 100 is safe on both polysulfone and polycarbonate caging, as well as stainless steel and glass. The Acidulate 150 and Enviro-Kleen 100 two-part program is our most popular cage wash combination for rodent facilities.
Enviro-Kleen 100 contains proprietary chelating chemistry that sequesters calcium and magnesium ions, keeping them in solution rather than depositing on surfaces or interfering with cleaning performance. This means consistent results even in facilities with challenging water conditions.
Enviro-Kleen 100 is designed for automated washers, rack washers, and tunnel washers. For manual or CIP (clean-in-place) applications, other members of the Enviro-Kleen family may be more appropriate. Contact us and we can match the right chemistry to your equipment.
Enviro-Kleen 100 is effective at dosage rates as low as 0.25 oz per gallon, which keeps per-wash costs low. Combined with the fact that it eliminates the need for a dedicated neutralizer when paired with Acidulate 150, most facilities find the two-product program is more economical than a three-product system — with less to order, store, and manage.
